I’ve never been that big on the whole Black Friday thing.
Until last year, I had never really even seen the madness up close, and it all seemed.. anticlimactic.
I don’t know. I mean, I get it if you’re shopping for a ton of people and want to save a few dollars here and there, but the anticipation and anxiety that comes with waiting for a buzzer to go off so I can shove people to get a cheaper xbox.. just doesn’t appeal to me.
Which is funny, because I usually love shoving people.
This year though, it was inconsequential how I felt about it, as some little shit hacked my xbox live account and started buying computer games on my dime.
I tried to go with Adam, just to watch people lose their shit over deals, but there wasn’t a single parking space at Walmart, which told us that it was time to go home.
Kevin went, but instead of thirteen dvd players, only walked out with one video game,which his sister had to muscle her way into a crowd for.
I guess that’s just it.
Black Friday isn’t for us. Sure, we’ll occasionally tag along to watch housewives and soccer moms mosh pit each other to get a cheaper appliance, but at the end of the day, we’re content to wait it out and pay a little more for the luxury of not wrestling for consumer electronics.
We’re simple folk, the three of us boys.

Not to mention a lot of the best deals are after right after christmas is over anyways lol. Or online (not just this new cyber monday thing but everyday from now till jan.). I've never seen the crazyness first hand but this friday I went to a nicer/newer walmart for some food and it wasn't even crowded, it was around 2-3pm but still.
I'd still never ever want to work on Black Friday though if I worked at the places where it gets really crazy. Not unless I got insanely awesome life insurance and hazard pay
